Agentic Coding · Humanity and Human Experience

Welcome to the Demo Site

An effort to experiment with, learn, and demo human+AI+umbraco capabilities.

Excited to have gotten this site up and running today! After some trial and error, happy to have accomplished the initial goals. Inspired by Filip's demo in the Umbraco Winter Keynote, I wanted to try setting things up myself. So for this site, it involved:

  1. Setting up an Umbraco 17 Cloud site

  2. Setting up MCP server to experiment with what's possible between Claude Code, the repo, and the back office

  3. Installing the Umbraco AI packages and Skills plugin, to explore what kinds of things editors can do

The process went fairly smoothly, and I attribute the hiccups along the way to my developer skills being quite rusty. I'll create another post walking through the steps I took to get this up and running, in case it's helpful for others. I have been using Claude/Claude Code to help along the way, and a big thanks to Paul Seal who created the starter site I used as a foundation.
